Hello all. It is a rainy day here in Houston, Texas. Thank God for the rain. We truly need it.
I have been listening to a series from White Dove Fellowship Church in Harvey, LA, (pastor, Mike Mille (me lay)) dealing with being blessed conscious as Christians. The Bible has many, many promises for us as believers in Christ Jesus. Some say over 7,000 promises are for us in Scripture.
As I listened, and re-listened, to Mille’s sermons with titles such as “Be Blessed Conscious”, Do it Now”, “Let it Go Now” and “Significant”, I got to thinking about the abundance of life as a Christian, specifically the supernatural abundance. This week I re-watched “The Passion of The Christ“. It was almost unbearable to watch Jesus’ constant beating. Can you imagine carrying a cross, wearing a crown of thorns, your face draped in blood and suffering the way Jesus did? I cannot fathom what must have been indescribable, excruciating pain – having something wicked rake your flesh down to the bone time and time again. Can you imagine yourself in that suffering, being spit on, mocked and betrayed by one you loved when you have committed no crime, done no wrong? Can you imagine having to go through all that and not utter a word? To endure torture to save the souls of people unknown to you and to acquiesce to such treatment – could you do what Jesus did?
Jesus died for me. Jesus died for you.

GOD IS FAITHFUL!
Having gone through some stuff, with a word of encouragement, my sister-in-law sent me a text message with just those three words … God is Faithful – and I recall thinking hmmm and repeating the words to myself… God is Faithful. I was in awe of those words. I’d heard those words before. I’d seen those words time and time again in scripture, but with her text, those words took on new meaning.
