John 3:17 reads “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
The Bible is really something when you stop and think about it. Our foundation of faith is based upon the words of this book: One either believe its truth, or not. Ponder this profound truth: God sent his Son to save the world, not to condemn it, but to save it: to save us.
When you think about faith, salvation; Jesus coming from a virgin birth, living for some 30+ years, hanging on a cross, dying a brutal death – it is all mind boggling to say the least; but, for those of us who believe, it happened, and in this season we celebrate the birth of Christ: He who was sent.
